Skywatch Friday

Late sunset, early moonrise. That's not a UFO - just a blurry moon, taken by an amateur who needs a tripod. For skyward pics from around the world (by people with tripods and better cameras and skills) check out Skywatch Friday.

Wonderful pic. I would have said it was a UFO. Imagine the number of hits you would get on your blog!

I have a tripod and the most of the time don't use it. I like real photos like this.

I really love the colors here. I took some photos of the moon last night. They are on my blog.

Thanks for commenting everyone!
The blur is caused by the nighttime setting on my camera. The shutter hesitates, I suppose, because it's trying to adjust to the lack of light. So, if you move in the slightest while you're taking the pic, you get a blur or worse, a smeary blob.
At least that's my very unprofessional opinion. I welcome any other explanations. Maybe it WAS a UFO, ha!
Happy weekend!
