Flooded Riverwalk

This footbridge is part of the Tuscaloosa Riverwalk and usually spans a deep ravine several yards back from the main channel of the Warrior River. The river has crested and is receding now, but this is what it looked like Wednesday, way past flood stage.

Ugh...I hope the damage isn't too bad. Nice reflections though!

We've moved inland D but I identify with the flooding. We had lots of that too, although where we lived we weren't directly affected by it while many around us were. I love the name "Warrior River".

Fortunately we haven't had quite that much rain up here. I hope you were high and dry.

Bridges usually provide a path over a river, not through it.

While it's make a beautiful image I hope the damage is minimal.

It's hard to tell exactly where the pathway is/was....let us know when it's clear
