SkyWatch Friday

My First SkyWatch Friday
This is my husband's attempt to capture the storm clouds gathering over our neighborhood.
The completely black part is the backyard fence.
Photographers we are not.
For really great SkyWatch photos by much better photographers, visit http://skyley.blogspot.com/
Happy Weekend!

The vivid colors are really nice. It adds a lot to an otherwise blue stormy sky.

Lovely colors. I think this is a great Sky Watch photo. Welcome to the pack.

Your husband did just fine, in fact, the line of the fence helps define the line of strom front.

I´m glad you used the word attempt, it tells a lot. That´s also the good point, the blurriness is actually a good thing and makes it moe like a painting.

Thanks everyone. Hubby was encouraged that his photo was well received! Now, he'll want his own camera! I promise to always give him credit for his work when posted here. :)

I really like your husband's sky shot. It's different!
I made raspberry fig preserves last week. Yummy! I'm telling you this because I saw your fig preserves post.

Thanks dot.
We accidentally made one batch of raspberry fig preserves too. The recipe calls for 2 boxes of strawberry, but we only had one box left and one box of raspberry. So,we used what we had and the result was interesting. The raspberry flavor COMPLETELY took over. So, we called them VERY BERRY fig preserves. :)

Hi D,
I just found your posting today. Us southern daily poster girls need to stick together!
I love this dramatic sky-graph with that deep blue. This is a really wonderful photograph. I do my SWF on my other blog but you can link to it from my daily photo blog. I'll be checking back.
