Tiny hands, tiny harvest

The cherry tomato plants are nearly burned to a crisp, but they're still producing.
The pickins are slim, but sweet. This is my three-year-old niece's harvest.

Yep - the hotter the weather, the sweeter the tomatoes. Here in Boise, Idaho, we just picked our first cherry tomato this week. Our plants are slow to give this year because of an unusually cold spring.

Those looks so good! Our tomato crop is very poor this year.
