Spiderwebs are particularly tricky to photograph if you're an amateur like me.
But, if you can manage to overlook the mad skillz (not), check out the weirdo spider living in this one. He's yellow and black and seems to have on body armor. Anyone have any idea what he really is?
Very cool and perfect as we get nearer to Halloween. Nice of these little critters to pose for you...maybe you looked like lunch if you would just get a bit closer. And closer.
Hal - I hope a spider expert happens along too! Frank - Yikes, I was trying to zoom in without getting TOO close. Tanya - Thanks for stopping by. Happy Halloween!
It kinda looks like a catface spider but I'm not sure if you have them down in the south. All I know is I would love to have one of these sitting in a jar under my tailgating tents because I love to freak out my fellow tailgaters.
Welcome to Tuscaloosa Daily Photo. Tuscaloosa is in Central Alabama - The Deep South, USA. It is home to The University of Alabama and so much more! I hope you enjoy the photos. Leave a comment and check back often!

Sorry... my mad skillz do extend to spider identification. Hope you find out what it is though. It's a strange looking guy.

Not a clue! Happy Halloween :)

Awesome web, ugly spider.
They're huge. Ick.
Your very own Halloween decorations! We have all these critters too. I love to watch them work (I'm not afraid of spiders but maybe I should be).
Ah yes, that time of year! These spiders do go wild!
Looks like a garden spider. They look scarier than they actually are.
The web in the top photo looks as if it's made of steel.
