Caturday

Please don't take the tree down yet. After all, it's Caturday.

(In my defense, I was LATE getting it put up. Then we were out of town for a few days. So, we're just not quite sick of looking at it yet.)

Visitor

If you look closely between the diagonal slats in this bench and the grid of the window screen, you can see a neighbor's cat making himself at home on my back porch! If our cat had known, it would have been an ugly scene.

Pound Puppy

This smiling beagle, C. C., came to our family a couple of summers ago, by way of the local animal shelter. She's as sweet as she looks. Note the winning smile! Very photogenic. :)

Rotten Cat

I promise not to make this into a pet pic blog. But, just indulge me this one today.
Here's my rotten cat, Molly. The throw she has made into a cat bed is really nice, silky, easily picked by cat claws and was a gift from a friend. I usually keep it put away, except when we have company. On this day, I forgot to put it back up when our company left. I turned my back for one second, and guess who found it? It's draped over the back of the couch so when she gets on it, she sinks down a bit between the cushion and the back piece. She loves it...rotten cat. :)
