Tornado

No picture today, just heartbreak.
There are plenty of pictures online & on the news.
Please pray for our town. Many of our citizens are injured & have lost everything, some have lost their lives.
May God help us.

Glad to hear from you and know that you are all right but so very sorry for all the loss of life and devastation. Tuscaloosa is one of my favorite towns in all the world.

Tanya - thanks so much, we live south of town (where the tornadoes have wreaked havoc in times past) so this time we are not affected, and feel very blessed and grateful.
Rambling Round - Unfortunately, the town we both love is hardly recognizable now. We're just praying that any survivors will be found today, and for the injured & homeless.

Having witnessed the aftermath of the 1966 Candlestick Park F5 tornado in Jackson, Mississippi, which hit my neighborhood when I was a senior in high school, I feel a deep sadness for everyone in the path of these monsters across all of the states. My prayers are ongoing, asking for strength to face these days, your new normal.

D, I have cousins who live south of town, too, and they barely missed the April 15 tornado. Our church in Selma will be sending supplies and workers to help through the Baptist association. God Bless!
