Blue Angels

An estimated 80-100,000 people turned out Saturday at the Tuscaloosa Regional Airport to see a day of flying that concluded with a spectacular show of combat maneuvers by the U.S. Navy's Blue Angels. The show was a huge success! We can't wait till they come back to see us again. Click to enlarge. I'll be sharing other photos from the show this week.

It's like the whole city of Salem went to the show. That's some turnout. Awesome shot.

Ooh, you captured this so well! They look like they're hovering — I was expecting smoke trails, duh! ;D

And so many people! Wow.

Thanks!
Hilda, there were definitely smoke trails during the show. They control it so they weren't always trailing.

Gogouci - yes! I'm not sure what our combined population is now but it seemed like all of Tuscaloosa and Northport showed up!
