Late sunset, early moonrise. That's not a UFO - just a blurry moon, taken by an amateur who needs a tripod. For skyward pics from around the world (by people with tripods and better cameras and skills) check out Skywatch Friday.

Wonderful pic. I would have said it was a UFO. Imagine the number of hits you would get on your blog!
I love the blur! The color in this photo is BEAUTIFUL!! Happy Friday:)
I could be a UFO ;)
Wow - I love the deep blues in this photo ... very dreamy.
i like the colors of the fading sunset...i have not ventured into evening/night shots...guess i am a chicken...lol.
have a great weekend.
I have a tripod and the most of the time don't use it. I like real photos like this.
I really love the colors here. I took some photos of the moon last night. They are on my blog.
This is a great picture, even without a tripod. I love the colors.
Good Morning! You Have Been Tagged!!
Lovely sunset!
Thanks for commenting everyone!
The blur is caused by the nighttime setting on my camera. The shutter hesitates, I suppose, because it's trying to adjust to the lack of light. So, if you move in the slightest while you're taking the pic, you get a blur or worse, a smeary blob.
At least that's my very unprofessional opinion. I welcome any other explanations. Maybe it WAS a UFO, ha!
Happy weekend!
D, this one's a keeper! I love it, blurry moon and all.
The deep colours are very spooky
tripod or not....a great shot...love the colors in this.
Your photo is neat nonetheless! I love the sky and the colors.
