Christmas at the Jemison Mansion

Christmas tree in one of the front parlors. Look at the size of the molding/framing around the window!

Click to enlarge to see the details around the fireplace, the mantle decorations, the mirror and the reflected original gas lamp chandelier. (oh, and the food looks nice too!)

I love the old fashioned Christmas tree. Ashlyn's wanting to string popcorn for ours, I need to get crackin on it!

This house is really something. I love the tree. I wonder how anyone can decorate something of that size! I find my 6 ft one daunting. :)

I love to see popcorn garlands -- that's a beautiful Christmas tree!

These houses look well worth touring. Like you, I really enjoy that sort of thing. I've never yet seen anything quite so lovely in one as your Southern Belle, below, though.

Wow! Love that fireplace...think I would enjoy more of the views here. I like the picture in the post below also. Running late or I would take time to leave a comment on both posts.

I wonder who took the time to string all of that popcorn! Beautiful tree and window detail.

That's just the kind of tree we had when I was a kid.
