Northport Barber Shop

Downtown Northport Barber Shop, complete with turning barber's pole.
The friendly barbers kindly allowed me to stick my head in the door for this shot!
There's a barber's pole at the backstreet entrance too!

I like that he let you take a picture of them at work...

How nice of them to let you take a peek and a picture. Funny there's a pole in the back. Do you think any customers use that entrance??

Love this kind of barber shop...I go to one. Did you get a trim? Look like a bunch of nice folks.

Looks like a nice shop. Not many of them left in this area.

Thanks for visiting and commenting!
The gentlemen were very kind to let me take a quick photo. These barbers are featured occasionally on our local news. Apparently, they've been at this shop for years, cutting hair for generations of men and boys - and telling tales that may or may not be true!

Haircuts the way they used to be! I don't know when I've seen a barber pole that still turns. Enjoyed the photos.

I think it's great that they posed for you. Their expressions look like something from the last century. Love the poles. A barber in Lomita, right by Palos Verdes, had his stolen from the roof! (It was from the barber's father's day.)
