This mosaic tile mural is in the courtyard of the Kentuck Museum in historic downtown Northport.
The Kentuck Museum and Art Gallery features art by regional and national artists. If you're ever near Tuscaloosa in October, the Kentuck Festival is a 'don't miss' event.

I like the mosaic. I always like drawings, etc. of that type of tree.
I like the mosaic too. The tree of life?
That mural is fantastic...I would love to see it in real life.
Wonderful mosaic.
Excellent! And the museum is wonderful...it's so nice they feature people nearby, too. Starving artists need all the help they can get.
Missed your birthday but can see I've chosen a good day to catch up. Love this mosaic mural. Many congratulations on your first year. Here's to the next one and more interesting photos from Tuscaloosa.
Beautiful mosaic. I've been to this museum but haven't been to the festival in ages. Maybe I will get there again someday.
That is a neat building! I am not sure if I ever will find myself in Tuscaloosa, but always good to know interesting little places!
Beautiful looking cute mosaic and that town cloak is so cute.
I love that mural!
man, I used to live at river Run apts in downtown Northport and used to love walking to the barber shop, city cafe, the globe, and kentuck museum and running under the railroad bridge and on the levee. I miss it more than i ever thought I would.
