Ghost Signs

Ghost signs, backstreet of downtown Northport.

Not sure what a graphone is, but you could buy one here at Alabama Furniture Co.

I love these old buildings and "ghost" signs. Keep 'em coming!

I enjoyed these ghost signs. I'm not positive, but I believe a graphone was an early phonograph.

These old signs are historic. Glad no one has painted over them.

Jim - Me too - love that "low prices" "easy credit" part
Halcyon - thanks! I will as long as I can keep finding them before someone with a wild paintbrush ruins them!
George- I think you're probably right about the phonograph.
Rambling Round- I think so too. They should always be preserved if possible!

You're building up quite a collection of these - next thing you know you'll have an exhibition locally and people will be flocking to see it!
