It's sunny in Tuscaloosa today, but this is what it looked like yesterday just before a short thunderstorm. Please visit Skywatch Friday for skyward views from around the world.
Love those southern spring thunderstorms!! I lived in Arkansas for 1 year and saw some really great storms. We don't get but a few thunderstorms around here and they are nothing compared to those Southern storms!!! The sky is threatening but beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
nature ramblings - They're pretty spectacular around here sometimes. We had a tornado Wednesday that damaged a few houses. But this one was just rain. Pam - we'll try to send it your way, we've had plenty this week! Jacob - thanks! I'm with you on the lightning. I'd love to capture a picture of a bolt, but I'm too chicken! Syaa-Fiqq-thank you for stopping by-hope you have a great weekend too. Chrome3d- Thanks for the warning, I TRY to be careful! :) At least for this one I was stopped at the red light! gogouci-indeed, we've had quite enough this week.
Welcome to Tuscaloosa Daily Photo. Tuscaloosa is in Central Alabama - The Deep South, USA. It is home to The University of Alabama and so much more! I hope you enjoy the photos. Leave a comment and check back often!

We could use some rain here in Florida, it has been very dry. Nice sky shot!
Have a great weekend,
Thunderstorms are scary - if only because of the lightning...
Your photo catches the threat beautifully.
That was quite dark clouds, but beautiful sky watch photo.. Great shot. Have a nice weekend..
Very moody skies. Don´t bump in to the next car when you take photos while driving!:-)
Skies look angry. Rain, rain go away...

Seems West Central Alabama has had more than its share of severe weather this year! I am glad to get the rain, but the winds have been a bit too much!
Photos from the drive are among my favorites. The shades of grey are very quite dramatic.
