Oh, enough already!

Since I've missed blogging for several days, I thought I'd catch up by posting three pics of the RAIN RAIN RAIN we've had in Tuscaloosa. Here it is puddling in the yard.
Pouring off the roof.

And finally, turning a luminary into a floating candle.
That's how much we've had just this weekend!
I think it may have finally tapered off. If you need rain, I'm thinking happy thoughts and trying to send some of ours your way!

I'm sorry to see this. My THS (no longer in existance(it's Central, now I think)class had it's 45th reunion this weekend. I didn't make it home for this one. Hopefully we'll do it in 2 years this time because we're all getting old!! Incidentally, my older son was born in TTown. At DCH.

We have had no real rain for so long...everything is drying up and dying...

Then, tonight, it came down in buckets and it's supposed to rain all day tomorrow. Yeah!

Sorry 'bout that. Why is it that it's so often either too much or too little?

Well ain't that the damn truth!!! I've had enough of it too. I"m off to Paris this next weekend. Well I'll get a snoot full of rain there too I'm sure. If it ain't raining it ain't Paris. Au revoir!!!

Thanks everybody for visiting the soggy land of Ttownphoto. I suppose we should be grateful we won't have to water the grass any time soon!

Hilda-seriously, it's been a rainy season Spring for sure
Marian-Lord, I hope their reunion was an indoor event, otherwise it was rained out.
Jacob-it's true, I feel terrible for complaining since just last year we had the worst drought ever!
Virginia-I hope you have a wonderful time in Paris and that the sun will shine enough for you to capture those wonderful shadows you do so well. Can't wait to see your handiwork!
Gogouci - thank you! I'm sure we'll be griping about the heat soon enough.
Valeria - I think maybe this week we'll dry out enough to cut the grass, at least!
Pam-thanks! I hung it there on the hummingbird feeder just to get it out of the way. Now I'll need to empty it and get a new candle!

I wish we could send the rain west where it's really needed. We've got plenty to spare down here in Jackson too! I think it hits us on it's way to you.

We've also had plenty of rain up here in Tennessee, but we're supposed to have three or four days of beautiful skies. I hope the same is true for you.

We had rain, rain and more rain last week, also. Cleared up this weekend and we are scheduled to have a few more clear days--yippeee!!!

Serious rain, but no thank you, we have enough here just now. Hopefully everything will grow beautifully after your downpours.

The strange thing is that May is usually a fairly dry month. I know, because that's when the garden gets dry...until this year!
