Here's an old ghost sign on the back of the Drake Printers (click to see their cool neon sign)building downtown. "Parsons-Persons Motors" Sadly, I couldn't get the entire sign in the frame as it is mostly in an alley and blocked by a newer building. This is also the same building with this ghost sign on the other side.

Nice sign. I hope all of these "ghosts" don't disappear!!!
I am fascinated by "ghost" signs and now that hand painting signs on buildings is long, long past, finding them is a real accomplishment. I just found a building with more then one and may shoot and post it today.

Thanks Halcyon and Frank! The last two I've posted are ones that I just happened to notice recently. I love finding them. It's kind of like a treasure hunt!
Parsons-Persons...I wonder if that refers to a parson selling cars to persons?
